Eventually I hope to register a domain name and get a host that will be big enough to allow for downloads of MP3's and shit. I also hope to provide a little more than your typical band website with mp3's, bio's, pictures and such... though I will include those to. This site is about the band and what the band is about. Fateful Moon is the brain child of Colorado born Travis Boylls, aka Firedragon, aka ME. Fateful Moon is a dark power metal band inspired by a wide aray of metal influences. Everything from upity happy power metal to grim necro black metal all wrapped in the dark, beautiful imagery of Nocturnal Paganism. I love all kinds of metal. I like to write different kinds of metal. I try to incorporate the best of different styles into the music I write. I try to take the virtuosity and musicianship of power metal, combine it with the dark imagery and atmosphere of black metal along with aggression of death and thrash metal, and the melody and composition skills of symphonic metal. All to create a huge smorgasboard of metal. With Fateful Moon, I try to have my cake and eat it too. After all, what else are you going to do with cake?
